Health Check is a small habit tracker. This page explains, in plain words, what it stores and what it doesn't.

What we store

Your email address (used to sign in), the plans and habit items you create, and your daily check-ins — which items you marked done on which dates. That's the whole list. We don't ask for your name, location, or anything about your health beyond the habit names you choose to track.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) under your own account. Access rules ensure your data is readable and writable only by you, when signed in. We can't browse it, and neither can other users.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, share it with third parties, run ads against it, or use it for anything other than showing you your own progress. There are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. The app keeps a simple private count of basic usage events (like which days you opened it) inside your own account data — it's included in your export and erased when you delete your account.

Community publishing

Publishing a plan to Discover is optional and off by default. If you publish one, that plan's name, items, and goal become publicly visible under an anonymous member handle (not your email or name) until you unpublish it. Your check-ins, notes, why-lines, and everything else stay private.

Your controls

From Settings you can export everything as a JSON file at any time, and you can delete your account — which permanently erases your data and can't be undone by anyone, including us.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your account and every piece of data associated with it: open the app, go to Settings → Delete account, and confirm. This permanently erases your sign-in, plans, habit items, check-in history, notes, badges, and settings. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

You can also delete parts of your data without deleting your account: removing a plan, a custom item, or a note in the app permanently removes that data. For any other deletion request — partial or full — email 4mstudios2@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we'll handle it.

If you can no longer sign in and want everything erased, the same email route works. No data is retained after deletion — there are no backups of deleted accounts.

A note on health

Health Check is a habit tracker, not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. For anything health-related that matters, talk to a professional who knows you.
